  PHP-Nuke Urban Terror

euro writes "Wolf is fading into the horizon (actually has been for some time), but there is another game still going strong that is built on the Quake III engine. It is called Urban Terror, and is an easy-to-learn, fast-paced game. A free download, the game is surprisingly polished. Centered around DM, TDM, CTF and Bombmode, the maps are small and rich in ambience, which keeps the game fresh. Many of the players playing even still have done so from years past, and many have that "comraderie" attitude that Wolf players possessed. Minimal setup is required other than your own gun configs, and finding servers is the same as RTCW. Changing configs and "tweaks" are again, similar to Wolf, and Punkbuster also runs within the game. There are no classes like in Wolf, but rather you simply pick what kind of gun you want, and what equipment to take. UrT is similar to CS is this way, but there is no "buying" items, or activating them. Simply pick and go. When a player is shot, he begins to bleed. His health drains and his ability to move decreases. Each player has the ability to heal or "bandage" either himself or a comrade up to 40% of his full health. If a player is equipped with a medkit, that number goes up to 80%. So, it is prudent to bind a key to the "bandage" key (default: Q), since you will inevitably need to click and hold it right after a firefight. A fun, free game, it has justified many playing hours for me - Mr. Picky Gameplayer - and I recommend it even just to see a brother to RTCW.www.urbanterror.net"

  PHP-Nuke Teamphoenix.COM now LIVE!

This afternoon I was the sucessful purchaser of the teamphoenix.com web address. I've been eyeing this web address for some time, because .com is more recognizable than .org. I suspect a lot of people forget the .org part and go to .com and never could find us.

As of Friday the 9th, www.teamphoenix.com points directly to www.teamphoenix.org. Both addresses go to the same site. Feel free to spread the word and pass on either address.

If you are visiting us as a result of a search or direction to TeamPhoenix.COM, please post here and let me know my cash was worth it!!

Enjoy!!
